The waiting list for 1-bedroom units at Lakeside Senior Apartments opens on November 19, 2025 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on December 3, 2025.

Paper applications will be available for pick up and drop off at 1507 2nd Avenue, Oakland, CA 94606 at the following times:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- During the Waiting List Opening
- 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Paper applications will be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to the address listed on the application. Applications submitted by mail must be received at the address listed on the application by December 3, 2025.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. The top 400 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. If additional applications are needed, we reserve the right to process the next applications in lottery order.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Head of household must be age 55 or older at the time of application. If there are any additional members, they must be age 45 or older or meet an exception.
- Some units are set aside for applicants who are living with a long term chronic health condition and are homeless.

Household Income must not exceed annual income limits for 1 Person: $22,380; 2 Persons: $25,580; 3 Persons: $28,780.
Unit includes: Bath, Inquire regarding Appliances and Paid Utilities. Amenities: Onsite Property Management, Supportive Services, Community Room, Outdoor Patio, Laundry Facility, Controlled Access. Off Street Parking is limited.
- Water and garbage are paid.
- Credit Check is Required. No charge for credit and background check
