Building Description
Brown Shingle Mutual Housing is a housing collective in Berkeley. There are three flats and one large collective house, with a fourth flat, suitable for a household of three or more. The flat is upstairs, on the second floor (not wheelchair-accessible), with three bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, dining room, and living room. A large attic provides storage (partly shared) and additional space. Beautiful Communal Yard. You must RSVP to attend an Open House in order to submit an application. Income Eligibility: Below 80% of Area Median Income
● Three-person household: Maximum income $108,750 per year
● Four-person household: Maximum income $120,800 per year
● Five-person household: Maximum income $130,500 per year
● Applicants must provide proof of income eligibility and pass a credit check
