Eligibility
Head of household must be 18 years or older at the time of application.
The waiting list for 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units at Albany Family Housing opens on July 10, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. Please visit http://www.sahahomes.org/apply for more information. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on July 24, 2024.
Paper applications will also be available to pick up and drop off at 842 Masonic Avenue, Albany, CA 94702 at the following times:
Thursday, July 11, 2024, 9 am – 1 pm & 2 pm – 4 pm
Wednesday, July 17, 2024, 9 am – 1 pm & 2 pm – 4 pm
Monday, July 22, 2024, 9 am – 1 pm & 2 pm – 4 pm
Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to PO Box 2605, Berkeley, CA94702. Paper applications must be postmarked by July 24, 2024, AND received by the manager’s office by 5:00 PM on July 31, 2024.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. All applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open on July 10, 2024, at9:00 AM and close on July 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Please call (844) 973-4242 for assistance.
