The waiting list for 1-bedroom Project Based Voucher units at Monarch Homes opens on April 24, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. Online applications must be submitted on Alameda County Housing Portal by 5:00 PM on May 8, 2024.

Eligibility: Head of household must be 62 years or older at the time of application.

Paper applications will also be available to pick up and drop off at the property at the following times:

  • Friday, April 26, 2024, 12 noon – 4pm
  • Monday, April 29, 2024, 12 noon – 4pm
  • Friday, May 3, 2024, 12 noon – 4pm
  • Monday, May 6, 2024, 12 noon – 4pm

Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to 3268 San Pablo Ave, Oakland, CA 94608. Paper applications must be postmarked by May 8, 2024, AND received by the manager’s office by 5:00 PM on May 15, 2024.

A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. All applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open on April 24, 2024, at 9:00 AM and close on May 8, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Please call (844) 924-2814 for assistance.
