April 8th, 2024, to April 19th, 2024.
HUD Section 236/Section 8 program and the Tax Credit program. Designed to serve seniors aged 62 or older, as well as low-income mobility-impaired individuals aged 18 or older who require accessible units.
General Requirements:
• Applicants must be 62 or older, or individuals aged 18 or older with disabilities that required an accessible unit.
• Subsidized (Section 8) rent will not exceed 30% of adjusted gross income.
• Applicants must consent to a sex offender check, a credit check, and review of their rental references.
• Applicants must be willing to comply with all HUD, Tax Credit, and owner requirements for admission and annual verification of income and assets.
• A security deposit equal to one month’s rent
• Annual income from all sources must not exceed the applicable income limit for the community as established by HUD and the IRS (revised annually). Currently, the HUD Income Limits are:

Your household will be ranked by lottery. This is not a first-come, first-serve basis. To be included in the lottery, your application must be completed and returned no later than Friday, April 19th, 2024, at 5:00 pm (PST).
Applications will not be available until the waiting list opens on April 8th, 2024, at 9:00am PST.
Applications must be received in paper form or legible pdf. Mailed in applications received after April 19th, 2024, at 5:00pm, with a postmark dated on or before April 19th, 2024 at 5:00pm, will be accepted. All applications must be completed and returned by Friday, April 19th, 2024, at 5:00 pm (PST) to be considered. No applications dropped off or emailed after the waiting list has closed will be accepted.
