Head of household must be 62 years or older at the time of application.The waiting list opens on May 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on May 20, 2026. Applications will also be available online to print by visiting www.sahahomes.org/apply Paper applications will also be available to pick up at 32 Linda Ave, Oakland, CA 94611 at the following times:
Friday, May 8, 2026: 9 AM–12 PM, 1 PM – 4:30 PM; Monday, May 11, 2026: 1 PM – 4:30 PM; and Monday, May 18, 2026: 1 PM – 4:30 PM. Paper applications must be mailed to the address listed on the application. Applications must be received by the manager's office by 5:00 PM on May 20, 2026.A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. The top 400 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open only for the duration of the waiting list opening. Please call (844) 793-9092 for assistance. Persons with disabilities have the right to request reasonable accommodations to participate in the application process.
