The waiting list for 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units at Allston House opens on February 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
Rent ranges 1 bed. $899. – 1498.; 2 bed. – $1079. – 2158 and 3 bed. $1246.
Eligibility:
· Head of household must be at least 18 years or older, or legally emancipated at the time of application.
Applications will be available to submit online. Please visit www.sahahomes.org/apply for more information. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on February 25, 2026.
Paper applications will also be available to pick up at 2121 7th Street, Berkeley, CA 94710 at the following times:
- Wednesday, February 11, 2026: 9am – 12 noon
- Thursday, February 12, 2026: 9am – 12 noon
- Wednesday, February 18, 2026: 9am – 12 noon

A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. The top 500 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. If additional applications are needed, we reserve the right to process the next applications in lottery order.
