Min.Income 2X the rent. Wheelchair Yes. Evictions yes. Security deposits are set at $400 for 1BR, $500 for 2BR, and $600 for 3BR. For tenants with Section 8 Vouchers or in Project Based units, the security deposit is the lesser of the set deposits and the tenant portion of the rent, at a minimum of $100.
The application period is from September 12 – September 26, 2023. Apply online or download application at http://housing.acgov.org or pick up an application at 2647 International Blvd., Oakland, CA 94601. Applications must be submitted by 5PM on Tuesday, 9/26 and will be randomly ordered. If, starting on 9/12, you require assistance accessing the online application, please call our leasing office at (510) 983-2355.
Casa Suenos will offer 181 units of affordable housing consisting of studios, 1-, 2- and 3- bedroom apartments. 29 units will be subsidized by the Project Based Section 8 Program by the Oakland Housing Authority. 46 units are set aside for supportive housing and two units are reserved for on-site staff. Income and other restrictions will apply.
Amenities include a Community Room with Kitchen and free WIFI, Computer Lab, Courtyard with Playground, Community Garden, BBQ Area, Picnic Area, Laundry Room, Limited Parking and Bike Parking.
- Rents include water and garbage; tenants are responsible for all other utilities including electricity, phone, and cable.
- Credit Check Fee is $9 per applicant age 18 & over. Due at interview.
- No Background Check.
