Building Description
Bed Transitional Housing- For Single Women and women with or without a child – up to 2 children, age 5 – 17 years old. Rent $700.00 and up, based on a sliding scale. No specific income requirements. Accepts SSI and SSA but not limited to those. No Deposit. Not wheelchair accessible. Must be clean and sober or in recovery. This is a tri-plex building and has a playground for kids. There are two rooms per unit for Women and children who are recovering from drugs/alcohol/spousal abuse, emotionally displaced, or temporarily needs an emergency place to stay. Must be independent, have a daily routine and can manage day to day activities. Accept mentally disabled who can live independently and HIV/AIDS conditions. All utilities included. Length of stay is 6 month – 2 years, will negotiate longer stay. Life skills counseling provided.
