Eligibility
· Head of household must be a Veteran and 18 years or older at the time of application.
The waiting list for 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom at Valor Village opened on October 16, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. Please visit www.sahahomes.org/apply for more information. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on November 13, 2024.
Paper applications are NOT available at the property site. Paper applications will be available to pick up at the off-site location: 540 21st Street, Oakland, CA 94612 during the following times:
· Tuesday, November 12, 2024: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to P.O. Box 2605, Berkeley, CA 94702. Applications submitted by mail must be postmarked by November 13, 2024 AND received at the P.O Box by 5:00 PM on November 20, 2024.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. All applicants will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open on October 16, 2024 at 9:00 AM and close on November 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Please call the number above for assistance.

1 and 2 bedroom units. Dep. 1x the rent. No minimum income requirement for households with Section 8 assistance. Seventeen units are reserved for Veterans. Minimum income figures are subject to change. Rent amounts are subject to change. Income Limits are subject to change. Car and bike parking spaces, Community room with a kitchen, Computer stations, Laundry facility, Outdoor courtyard, and Children’s playground. Off-street parking is limited and is not guaranteed. If you are not assigned a parking space, you may request to be added to the parking lot waiting list.
