Eligibility – Waiting List Closed
· Head of household must be 55 years or older at the time of application. If there are any additional members, they must be age 45 or older or meet an exception. See flyers for exceptions. The waiting list for 1-bedroom units at Fremont Oak Gardens opens on May 29, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. Please visit www.sahahomes.org/apply for more information. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on June 12, 2024.
Paper applications will also be available to pick up and drop off at the property at the following times:
· Monday May 29, 2024, through Friday May 31, 2024, 10am – 4pm.
· Monday June 3, 2024, through Friday June 7, 2024, 10am – 4pm.
· Monday June 10, 2024, through Wednesday June 12, 2024, 10am – 4pm.
Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to 2681 Driscoll Rd, ATTN Manager, Fremont, CA 94539. Paper applications must be postmarked by June 12, 2024, AND received by the manager’s office by 5:00 PM on June 19, 2024.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. The top 400 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open on May 29, 2024, at 9:00 AM and close on June 12, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Please call (877) 395-9865 for assistance.

All units include: stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coin-operated laundry facility onsite, cable ready. Amenities: Community kitchen, recreation room and garden, outdoor courtyard, supportive services, elevators, controlled access, computer room w/digital video cameras. Special Feature For Hearing Impaired: strobe lights to signify doorbell, phone & fire alarms, video camera and TTY intercoms and elevators w/windows to allow signing with the outside in case of a malfunction, two social workers onsite. Throughout the complex, the architect emphasized clear lines of sight to enable visual communication.
