Coliseum Place provides 58 affordable apartments in total, featuring 11 one-bedroom,
27 two-bedroom, and 20 three-bedroom apartments.
WAIT LIST OPEN. Applications will be accepted online until Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 5:00 PM. APPLY ONLINE or DOWNLOAD APPLICATION at http://housing.acgov.org. PICK UP AN APPLICATION at 7120 Hawley Street, Oakland, CA 94612. Applications must be received by the deadline. Housing Preferences Apply.
Minimum Income Requirement is 2X the Amount of Rent. Wheelchair Accessible. Eligibility is income-restricted, as are rents, in accordance with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program as well as other funding program requirements. To qualify, applicants cannot exceed the annual gross income limits based on their household size. Max. Income Restrictions range from $47,950 for a one-person household to $84,950 for a seven-person household. Units include: Bath, Stove, Refrigerator. Amenities: Community Room, Bike Parking, Courtyard off the Community Room, 2nd Floor Courtyard. Residential Supportive Services are provided to all residents on a volunteer basis.
- Water, Gas and Garbage are paid by owner. Electricity, phone, TV, internet and cable not included. For the PBV units, deposit is one month of the tenant-paid portion of rent (30% of income).
- Credit Check Fee is $35 per applicant age 18 and over. Due at interview.
- Housing Choice Vouchers, Section 8 and other valid rental assistance programs will be considered for this property. In the case of a valid rental subsidy, the required minimum income will be based on the portion of the rent that the tenant pays after the use of the subsidy.
- Does not accept Cosigner.
- Previous Evictions – Depends. Will be offering request for considerations for derogatory landlord references.
