Waiting List Opening Soon!!! Affordable studio units for seniors
The waiting list for studio units at Jordan Court opens on January 16, 2024 at 9:00 AM.
Eligibility: Head of Household must be 62 years or older at the time of application.
Applications can be submitted through https://housing.acgov.org/listings. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on January 23, 2024.
Paper applications will be available to pick up and drop off at the property at the following times:
- Wednesday, January 17, 2024, 9am – 12pm
- Monday, January 22, 2024, 1pm – 5pm
Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to the address listed on the application. Paper applications must be postmarked by January 23, 2024 AND received by the manager’s office by 5:00 PM on -January 30, 2024.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. The 1st 200 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open on January 16, 2024 at 9:00 AM and close on January 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Please call (833) 691-6700 for assistance.

Studio. Rent: $1,501. Security deposit is 1x the rent. Minimum Yearly Income for 1 Person $36,024. Maximum Yearly Income $62,160. Unit includes: Coin-op laundry, community gardens, upper floor terraces and on-site services. Off-street parking is limited
Jordan Court is a housing community of 35 affordable studio units for seniors in the heart of North Berkeley. Residents will enjoy on-site amenities such as a community room, a courtyard with seating and adjacent laundry room, and upper floor terraces and lounge.
Admission Preferences: As required by Alameda County, there is an admissions preference for applicants who are Alameda County residents or workers. Preferences will be verified.

- Credit check/Background check Yes. No screening fees. Management will verify residency with current and prior landlords for the past two (2) years. Management is specifically looking at payment history, incidents of damage and/or housekeeping issues, lease violations and eviction proceedings. If a negative landlord reference is received, the application will be denied. Lack of residential history does not necessarily disqualify you.
