Eligibility:
· Head of household must be at least 18 years or older, or legally emancipated at the time of application.
The waiting list for studio, 1-, and 2-bedroom units at Arya opens on September 7, 2023 at 9:00 AM.
Applications will be available to submit online. Please visit https://housing.sanjoseca.gov/ for more information. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on September 14, 2023.
Paper applications will also be available to pick up at 501 S. Almaden Blvd, San Jose, CA 95110 at the following times:
• Friday, September 8, 2023, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Thursday, September 14, 2023, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to PO Box #71027, Oakland, CA 94612. Paper applications must be postmarked by September 14, 2023 AND received by the manager’s office by 5:00 PM on September 21, 2023. A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline.
The top 500 applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line (866) 931-5848 will open on September 7, 2023 at 9:00 AM and close on September 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM. Please call the number above for assistance.
