The City of Pleasanton, in coordination with Avenue5 Residential, is opening the Waiting List for the One-Bedroom Below Market Rate (BMR) units at The Kensington Apartments located at:1552 E Gate Way, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
The Waiting List will be open for pre-applications beginning: Wednesday, March 6th through Friday, Mach 15th, 2024.
Applicants will be required to submit a pre-application for placement on the Waiting List.
A pre-application lottery process will be administered to determine the Waiting List order for the One-Bedroom BMR units, per the City Preference System for Pleasanton residents and employees for City-assisted affordable housing developments.
Applicants must meet the maximum income limits and household size requirements below.
2023 Income Limits Household Size:
80% AMI – 1 bedroom $78,550 / 2 bedroom $89,750 / 3 bedroom $100,950.
1 Bedroom $2,244. Min. household size 1. Max. household size 3
HOW TO APPLY:
Pre-Application forms and eligibility guidelines are downloadable from the City’s website at https://www.cityofpleasantonca.gov/our-government/housing/. Pre-Applications must be delivered by mail or in person before the deadline at The Kensington Apartments Leasing Office, 1552 E Gate Way Pleasanton, CA 94566.
