OAHPI (Oakland Affordable Housing Preservation Initiative)
Accepting pre-applications for the 2022 waiting list opening. This is not a Housing Choice Voucher. This waiting list is for two and three-bedroom units only. Rent 30% of income. This is a fully web-based pre-application process. Pre-applications will be accepted online ONLY starting Tuesday February 1, 2022 8AM through Friday February 4, 2022 7:59AM. Go to www.oakha.org or https://myohaportal.oakha.org/ to submit a pre-application. You must have a valid email address to submit a pre-application. There is no fee for completing the pre-application. THIS IS NOT A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED PROCESS. this waiting list will be active for 12 to 18 months. The Project-based Voucher (PBV) sites are located throughout the City of Oakland. Applicants can submit a pre-application for only one of the OAHPI six areas. You will receive an email confirming when you successfully complete and submit the pre-application.
